Technical Training in Water Infrastructure
A one-week course run regularly in Madagascar. It covers many aspects of water supply, treatment and distribution as possible. The training is intense and includes many practical elements, always drawing from extensive field experience.
Training in Household Biosand Filtration
A one-week course that covers theory of slow sand filtration and practical construction and installation of household level biosand filters in a rural setting. The training has been run in Madagascar, Kenya, Somaliland and Afghanistan. A major theme of this training is the emphasis on the micro-entrepreneurial approach to setting up biosand filter production in a new setting, in order to increase sustainability and success.
