BushProof is supervising the construction of an alternative biological water treatment system to treat the discharge of a vanilla treatment plant near Sambava (North-East of Madagascar). Two basins are lined with membrane and geotextile, then filled with gravel and aquatic plants. Our team is still on site.

We have just completed a session of our Technical Training in Water and Sanitation Infrastructure. We had seven participants from various countries, including South-Sudan, Zimbabwe, Yemen and Madagascar. The next training will be held in March 2015.

BushProof just completed the construction of a solar-powered water supply pumping system for the distribution of 100 m3 per day in a commune in south-eastern Madagascar. The water is rich in iron, so a treatment system using aeration and filtration has been set up which can treat 10 m3 per hour.
